Hey Tsholo,
My apologies. I missed your question above.
You can close the trades manually whenever you wish. It won’t affect the functionality of the EAs. They will continue to open and close trades as long as Auto Trading is enabled and they are attached to the chart/s.
Thanks,
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHi there,
The EAs that are included in the course get updated regularly, so the settings may be different from those in the course. You can use them as they are without changing any settings.

Ilan VardyModeratorHey Ahmed,
Please run a backtest on the portfolio EA, using the exact settings you’re trading with, and see if trades should have opened. Also, please check the journal for any errors. You can also screenshot the results and share them here so I can take a closer look.
Cheers,
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHi Elia,
Do you mean that in the strategy tester you only see 1 trade, or only 1 EA opening multiple trades? Because you can only test 1 EA at a time in the tester. However, if you are only seeing one trade, please check to see that you have selected the correct date range, you have enough historical data loaded and you select ‘Open Prices Only’ as your modelling option.
Thanks,
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHi Tsholo,
The EAs get updated monthly, generally. They will always be attached to the same lecture. Check back in during the first week of each month. Please note though, that if the EAs are still performing well, we do not update them.
Cheers,
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHi Maarten,
Could you please share a screenshot of your journal, or download it an attach it to the chat so I can take a closer look.
Thanks,
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHey Ahmad,
Check out our VPS page, and give one those providers a try. On their plans, you can see how many MT4 or MT5 platforms will suit each option. https://staging.eatradingacademy.com/trading-vps/

Ilan VardyModeratorHi Tsholo,
A $100 is a very small account. The EAs were created and optimised with settings for a $10 000 account. I would suggest opening another account, or if you can, add additional funds to your existing account, to at least $1000, and adjust your lot sizes in the properties of the EA from 0.1 to 0.01.
Let me know if you need help with this.
Cheers,
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorGreetings Traders,
We want to inform you about the substantial drawdown experienced by the Forex Gold Investor on Friday, April 12th. Following our direct communication with the developers, they are taking swift action to resolve this issue and are enhancing the EA with additional daily drawdown protections to prevent similar incidents in the future. Furthermore, Petko will be creating a video to discuss the drawdown in detail, which will be published on our YouTube channel in the coming days. It’s important to remember to trade all EAs with conservative lot sizes to manage risk effectively!.
Trade safe,
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHey Michael,
Looks like a solid plan. It does seem however, that you are relying very heavily on USD, as it’s part of every pair. Try diversifying a little more with the currencies. So for example, using these currencies, add more pairs like EURAUD, EURGBP, AUDJPY, GBPJPYetc.
Good luck!
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHey Michael,
The EAs are identical for MT4 and MT5. When downloading them from EA Studio, we download an MT4 and MT5 version of the same strategy.

Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHey Sion,
If it’s the FTMO Robot, which I believe it is, they should be on the chart when you load the EA. Have you loaded all 8, and do you see the indicators, like this?:
Ilan VardyModeratorHey Sion,
Difficult to tell from the image above, without the indicators displaying. But, if it exited, it means the exit rule was triggered.
Cheers,
IlanIlan VardyModeratorHey Eric,
Yes, you can. You can use as many as you’re comfortable using, based on the criteria who select (profitable trades, profit factor, etc.). Just make sure you adjust the entry lots and risk settings to match the account size and number of EAs, so you don’t risk too much.
Cheers,
Ilan
Ilan VardyModeratorHi Ghiath,
If you run a backtest, do you see trades that would have opened? It sounds like all your settings are correct, and trades should be opening. I’d suggest running the backtest, saving the results and asking the broker why trades have not executed, when clearly, the backtest shows that they should have. Also, check your journal for any errors. Could be a connectivity issue with the broker’s sever.
Cheers,
Ilan
