Do you mean that you preset some indicators? And what do you mean you added the strategy to the collection after that?
I am using EA Studio for over a year now and I never had any errors or mistakes.

same with me. I liked the EA Studio the way it was at the beginning, now I love it 🙂 And I am sure these guys will improve it more and more.
Try to concentrate on creating better and better expert advisor and having better account management. Ignore the brokers 🙂

if you use FSB pro you can do what Petko shows in his USDJPY top 10 EAs course. Place Longer Time Frames filters on the M1 strategies. This way the strategies will open only when the filters allow that.
If you use EA Studio, you might need to place more indicators as entry conditions. Which will make the strategy not so active. Look at the picture Andi posted above – you can monitor how long time the EA is trading.
Petko, I just succeeded to watch the new course. I was using the Walk Forward but in a wrong way 🙁
Now I will need to go over all the EAs to check this validation and remove those that fail.

My acceptance criteria on live account are 1.2 profit factor, but I see that you are doing deeper analysis which is more professional.
Hi Petko! My new EAs using the OOS are much better – less drawdowns and better profit factor. Also, before I kept the EAs on live account about 2-3 weeks, now I have some EAs on live for over 45 days and they are still with profit factor above 1.2.

it is very important to be strict with your rules. This is where the improvement will come. In the beginning, I was doing compromises with many things when testing the EAs. I learned that this was wrong. Create your rules to test on Demo, and follow strictly.
Same as with the live account. Do not make compromises when you have to remove any EA from the live account if it breaks the rules.
Thanks Petko! The 99 EAs with Forex were great last month. I had 22 EAs on my live account. Looking or the results this month.
As I have already shared in this topic, I was scammed so bad that I couldn’t do anything. I tried to complain to many places but it was useless.
So I really do not believe that these people will be caught. No way…I hope so, but no way…
BUT I found Petko and Forex Academy, and all is great for me now…
This makes so much sense and I will test it for sure. FSB pro looks more professional to me with the time and I am able to create complex strategies using many entry conditions, different time frames, and now I see that I can use this linking option which is great.
If I have a profitable strategy in EA studio I can put it in FSB Pro and link the indicators for the generator. This way it will find me more strategies on higher time for example or even on a lower time frame that will complete the strategy as a more complex expert advisor.
I really like the updates too. First, because I don’t have the time to follow what is going on with the strategy builder on their website. And second, because they don’t launch videos with every new update. They just released the new version and you should deal with it.
Petko gives great details about all of the features such as the R-squared which I would never know. The way he uses the acceptance criteria with Out of sample and In of sample is amazing for me. I have been testing it now for 2 weeks and I hope that from the first week of March I will have already expert advisors trading on the live account using this method.
