Yes, I think Petko shows different ways to use the generator and the reactor in EA Studio. This way different strategies are created and better risk diversification is achieved.
I have all of his courses, and I am amazed by how he creates different EAs all the time. I know EA Studio and FSB are great pieces of software, I have been using them for over a year now, but it is important to use them the proper way. The programs just teach you how to trade as well…
HaliffaParticipantHi Robert,
if you make the backtest you will see how the EAs did in the past till the current moment. The idea is to test them on Demo to see which strategies make a profit for the current moment.
What Petko teaches is to manage between Demo and Live. Keep trading on Live just the EAs and the strategies that currently profit. That are in their profitable phase.
HaliffaParticipantJacpin, my husband probably will be moved there from his work, and I will have to go with him 🙂
I am not sure where it will be, but probably NY. However, I hope by this time I will double the profits from the EAs, and be more confident in moving there. Where is more expensive? On the West?
HaliffaParticipantHey Petko!!! That sounds really great! I would be happy to meet you in person, I have like 1000 questions 🙂
Also, it will be great to meet Jacpin, Roman, Andi, and all the rest who write in the Forum. I am sure such weekends will be really useful for all.
Looking for it!
HaliffaParticipantHi Petko, great you made this clear. I never really got into it, how it works. Now I know 🙂
HaliffaParticipantHi Jacpin,
Glad that you are back and hope you won’t have the problems anymore. How is life in the states? I plan to move next year. I have a decent income now from the EAs, and if I keep it this way (or even improve it) my plans will go fluently.
HaliffaParticipantHi, Petko, what is coming up? 🙂
HaliffaParticipantHello Petko! I see that you guy added a FAQ section. The videos are very interesting! I watched half of them.
Are you going to create such for all courses?
HaliffaParticipantI would be scary to trade EAs with such a difference in the SL and TP. What if you hit 2-3 consecutive trades on a loss.
Jacpin, how many consecutive losses you see for this strategy in the backtest output?
HaliffaParticipantHey, Petko! That is so interesting to see. When do you find time to teach martial arts? I wish I organize myself better and have time for some training.
HaliffaParticipantUploaded those as well!
May 3, 2019 at 11:53 in reply to: How satisfied are you with the automated trading software EA Studio? #11834HaliffaParticipantI just saw the new updates in EA Studio. Actually, the best thing I can see now is that with the lifetime license we get all future updates for free.
Most software needs to be paid again or to buy the new version on a lower price.
HaliffaParticipantThank you, Petko! You are the man!
HaliffaParticipantHi Roman,
I do not watch the calendar anymore as well. I take a look from time to me but I do not think it reflects our trading with the EAs.
When we generate the EAs it includes all the news and events so it is expected they will be robust enough during the news. I prefer as well the Forex because there are not such explosive moves up and now.
HaliffaParticipantHello Roman,
yes indeed it is a personal choice but the great thing with OOS is exactly that we are able to test the EAs on the recent months. And it happens automatically with the Reactor which is really awesome!
