gowisoParticipantHello Petko,
Hope you are keeping well.
Apologies UJ is abbreviation for USD/JPY pair.

gowisoParticipantHi Petko,
I am trying to import back the UJ EAs into the studio unfortunately its giving me an error “cannot import strategy; something is wrong with the file”

gowisoParticipantHi Bob,
Many thanks Bob, just for clarification,
1. the different EAs must have separate magic numbers ?
2.Can I open say 5 EG charts and trade the same EA ( with the same magic number) or in such a situation i would have to trade it on one chart but upscale the lot size.
Regards
Owiso G.
gowisoParticipantHi Bob,
Many thanks
As a newbie on the algo trading front, I will initially stick with Petko’s EAs until am very comfortable at generating my own strategies , I really appreciate the baseline of 10 succesful trades however, how long does one keep trading the selected EAs. I notice the market is now most volatile than ever. From your experience, How many EAs would be appropriate to trade in USD 500 account and at which lotsizes.
Kind Regards

gowisoParticipantHi Petko,
Many thanks for the good work.
In regards to the EAs you are updating every 2 – 3 months (on Udemy), according to your experience in the markets
1. What would be the appropriate period to test them on my platform demo account before porting to live in view of the ever changing markets ?.
2. Is there any further need to optimize them on the EA studio ?
Kind Regards
Owiso G.
