Very interesting topic here. Steve, my name is Teo and I am new to the Academy and the forum. Just going over all post and trying to learn as much as possible for algorithmic trading. I hope next months I will be able to achieve profits with Expert Advisors from Petko, and after that with the EAs I generate.
I see that there new EA Studio updates all the time. That is great. It is nice to have a software that is being developed.

thanks for sharing. Is that actually mean that if I have EAs running in one Demo trading account and I place them on another MetaTrader the first ones will continue working? I thought they will be disabled because they are placed in another place.
What do you mean by simulating Demo trading? And where I can find this method explained.

Haliffa, yes, Petko sounds like a real professional. The way he talks you can understand that he knows what he is doing with confidence.
Thapelo, I would listen to you and take the Basic algorithmic trading course as first. I really need the basics in algo trading. I am sure most will be familiar to me but I want to catch the details. I guess after that will continue with the Forex strategy course – portfolio trading with 12 EAs.
I have watched the free EA Studio trading course, and it was really enlightening. I like the software and I will use it more and more the next months.

I am new with the EA Studio and I am pretty surprised with what I see especially when backtesting Forex strategies. The free videos from Petko helped me a lot to get started.
I have been trading for many years manually and it was taking me a lot of time to test strategies. After that with different parameters, adding indicators and most of the time it was lost time.
I really like the editor in EA Studio. It is fascinating when I put indicators, change parameters and see the outcome at the moment. That would have saved me years.

my name is James and I am trading Forex for about 12 years now. Only manually and now I want to go for algorithmic trading because I do not want to stay a lot on the screen anymore…my eyes start to hurt, and my a..
So I found EA Forex Academy and Petko Alexandrov’s courses. I would like a suggestion about which courses I should be starting with having in mind that I do not have experience in algo trading but a lot in manual trading.
Anyway, I guess I will keep trading manually until I figure it out how to do it with Expert Advisors.
