    Hey Jeremie,

Glad to hear from you! Yes, give it always more time. There will constantly be losing and profitable days, but the most important is looking at the big picture and finding the best way to manage the EAs.

Is FP Markets accepting clients from Canada?

    Hey traders,

I have updated the courses with new EAs for September 2023. Your Portfolio is getting bigger and bigger every month. Make sure to organize your accounts so they will be comfortable to manage.

Also, remember to test any new EA on a Demo account first.

    Hey John,

Glad to hear from you. We optimized the prices at the lowest price possible. That is why we do not offer any extra coupons.

In fact, the price will increase in the following months because we have many students and traders joining, and we can’t handle the support. We prefer to have fewer students but be able to answer all questions.

Yes, the SL and the TP are different for every EA. However, if you use the Scaling up, you better use the same SL and TP (30 and 60) so it will be easier to handle it.

After the EA is made to trade on a few pairs, I prefer to test them all and keep the best one on my challenge.  Check this video if you have missed it yesterday.

    Hey Janek,

In the last few days of the week, it was the EURAUD. I recorded a video showing exactly how I manage it:

    Hey Kris,

Glad to hear from you. In the course, I showed scaling with the EURUSD EA, which uses SL of 30 and TP of 60.

Now when the EA trades on multiple currencies, they all use different SL and TP.

However, if you want to use the scaling with 1:2 you can set SL of 30 and TP of 60 to any of the EA. It will have a worse backtest but it will be easier for you to manage it.

    Hey Thomas,

Usually, I update the EAs every first week of the month. You will receive an e-mail or you can follow that topic.

I checked the EAs in the folder and saw that I added some extra EUJPY EAs. 🙂 The GBPUSD EAs are in there.

    Cheers,

Thanks for sharing all of that!

Also, with the latest update of the FSB Pro, this problem should be solved. I updated the EAs as well.

    Hey Wiz,

Glad to hear from you. Which time frame and asset do you use?

I would start with the Acceptance Criteria:

    • Min Count of Trades 200
    • Profit Factor 1.1

    And keep the Monte Carlo.

Once you see many strategies, you can start increasing the strictness of the acceptance criteria.

    Hi Michael,

I suggest you test the 7 EAs on Demo or FTMO Trial and find out which is the top EA.

Please check this Forum Topic, where I have described it in detail.

    Hey Aaron,

Glad to hear from you again!

Great, we will check them out! Thanks for sharing your experience!

in reply to: FTMO Robot: V4.3: What’s new? #193456

Hey Michael, that is a personal choice. I would stop them only when there are Rate decisions, FOMC, or the essential news.

However, there is a spread protection so if there is news and the spread increases, the EA will not open trades.

Sometimes the volatility is before or after the news, so the most realistic filter is the spread, not exactly to stop trading at the news.

Hey John, thanks for the words! In the course, we included only the EURUSD FTMO Robot, and separately on the website, we have the different versions of the FTMO Robot. That is why the price is different.

    Hey Chris,

    Glad to hear from you.

    1. I updated the FTMO Robot with 7 versions, but this does not mean you have to trade all of them in 1 account but select which one you want to use. For example, you can put them all in one trial and follow the results. Check which ones bring the most profits and use it on your Challange or Funded account.

For example, here are all my recent trades where I am testing the 7 EAs (arranged by comments/magic numbers)

    2. Then, what I would do is connect the account with FXBlue and see which EAs are most profitable:

In this case, I have 4 that bring profits in current market conditions. So I can pick 1 or 2 that I would trade on my challenge or FTMO-funded account.

At the moment the FTMO Robot for EURNZD is the top performer.

And I always combine with the scaling-up system I show in the FTMO Course.

    3. All the EAs have SL, check the first screenshot.

But that is what I would do. It doesn’t mean you have to do it the same way. 🙂
