And that is if you want to risk about 1% per trade. It depends on what is your risk tolerance.

The EAs are the same. If you see a difference between MT4 and MT5, this is because of the Historical data provided by the brokers.

You can modify the lots from the inputs of the EAs. The first line usually is the lot size.

As Alan said the Balance is at 10k because non of the trades were closed. The Equity is the Balance +- open trades!

    Hey Gafur,

I will consider it with the next update but these 5 EAs were not created for FTMO. You better check the FTMO course with the FTMO Robot included.

Yes, I replaced the Trailing Stop with the Account Percent Stop for 2 reasons:

    1. The Trailing Stop did not give any significant difference on the backtest and during live tests (same results with or without it)

    2. The Account Percent Stop is important for people who can’t manage the lots well and they might lose their accounts if they place huge lot size by mistake.

So if something isn’t really improving the strategy I prefer to remove it. This way the code of the EA is shorter and the backtest would run faster.

    Hey Janek,

I appreciate it! I am going to add this video to the course since it turned out to be valuable indeed!

    Hey Janek,

Make sure to have the Magic number in the inputs when you drag it over the chart.

Yes, a swing account would work best.

    Hey Sam,

I usually remove the Robots if the Profit Factor drops below 1.2. If you let it run until it drops below 1.0 it means you would have more losses than profits.

    Hey mate,

    Glad to hear from you.

    1. Yes

    2. The default contract size for Forex is 1 lot = 100 000 EURUSD, for example.

The points are the last digits of the price. If EURUSD is 1.08105, The point is ”5”.

in reply to: MFF EVALUATION #197301

    Hey Alan,

Great you shared the results (even what happened with MFF). Most importantly, you use the Strategy Builers successfully!

It would be great if you share more about how you generate the EAs.

Regarding the Prop Firm industry, I can assure you that nothing will change…there have always been Forex Scam brokers, Crypto Exchanges, and Prop Firms…and there will always be greedy CEOs that a few million is not enough revenue but they need a few hundred million. 🙂

I’ve been in this business for over a decade now, and I’ve seen a lot of people scammed, and nothing ever changes… unfortunately. They will just move to another country, open a different brand with a different name and they will scam again. This repeats again and again.

It depends on your leverage as well.

Try lowering the lot size to 0.1 and see if you will still see the same error.

I’ve been using many 3rd Part EAs, and I have not had even 1 account blocked.

Most EAs will have the option to mix the trades a bit to make them unique.

Also, in my FTMO Robot, I have a page on the PDF provided that teaches how to make the trades different from everyone else using the Robot.

You can use the FTMO Trial. It is the same market. Conditions are a bit different with every server, but at the end, you will see which EA performs the best.
