Hey Petko, just to let you know, it works fine for me so far! Yes, I know you do not recommend it, but it is nice you share because you saved me a lot of time to struggle around.
AndiMemberHey Petko! What is the course coming up this month? 😉
AndiMemberQuite a strange thing Ossaio!
I think you need to set up the Expert Advisors again, make sure the lots are correct, and they are placed on single charts. There must be a reason.
Also, if all is good with you, it could be really from the broker. No idea why! Just place the very same EAs on a Demo account with other broker and see if this will happen or not. If it does not, it is from the broker.
AndiMemberYeah, Jie did not say anything else. I am curious about his tests 🙂
AndiMemberHello Fsgi!
As far as I know this EA from the course of Petko was created with EA Studio. And in EA Studio there is no option to reverse the trades. So I guess the EA is not designed to reverse the trades at first place.
Regards, Andi
AndiMemberHi Ossaio. So far I did not have any issues with FSB Pro.
A reason could be that you have the EA on another chart with the higher lot? Or you have it on another computer and another platform with the same EA?
AndiMemberI think most of the people who jump in trading without education lose all their savings. That is sad. It is like to become a doctor and go to operating theater without the 10 years of education needed.
AndiMemberThat is correct, Deniza!
AndiMemberIt is just great that once enrolled in the courses you get lifetime updates. Have never seen such a thing!
AndiMemberHey Desita, great of you to share your results. Mine is similar but on a small live account. I always test the EAs with 0.01 on live account so they are about 80 dollars for the period 🙂
AndiMemberI can bet you all goes in the broker. I have friends working for brokers, and indeed the money stays there.
AndiMemberHey Ossaio,
yes, this is true as Petko confirms. It is nice to use the win/loss ratio but it is better if you combine it with some other criteria.
AndiMemberYes, I watch them periodically as well, same as most of the courses 🙂
AndiMemberYes, I watched the lecture ones again. When the Walk Forward shows a better result is fine. When it is worse, it means the strategy was over-optimized, because the Walk Forward fails to find better results for the different segments.
AndiMemberVery interesting approach, Thapelo!
One thing here, it is not about the number of entry conditions you have but about what they are.
For example, if you use more conditions as “the line is higher than the other line” or ” the indicator is higher than the 0 line” you will have trades all the time. There is a new feature in the Backtest output. They are two actually:
It shows you in percentage how active is your strategy.
If you use more conditions as “the line crosses the other line” or ” the line changes its direction upwards” you will have fewer trades.
